Today\u2019s gathering at the Zrno Soli restaurant is not a typical menu presentation; it is not yet another retelling of the desire to be different. Rather, it is a true immersion into the mystical depths of Split and our national history \u2013 all signed with an innovative culinary signature.<\/p>\n\n
Today, in a royal setting beneath Sustipan \u2013 once home to Croatian kings \u2013 a true moment of magic unfolded: a meeting of cultural heritage dressed in a completely new guise, and the richness of royal flavors with which Zrno Soli has been leaving an indelible mark on the culinary scene for 14 years.<\/p>\n\n
In a relaxed, joyful, and pleasant atmosphere, the Zrno Soli team guided us step by step through the story behind the results of their tireless imagination. The project, officially unveiled today and presented to the professional tourism community and friends of the Zrno Soli restaurant, has quietly been taking shape for some time. Zrno Soli addressed the audience with carefully chosen words: <\/p>\n\n

Inspired by years of experience with our guests, we realized that we offer more than just food. This is our Zrno Soli \u2013 the little grain of salt that was fortunate enough to make a difference. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n
This year, within our innovative team, we gifted each other the time to dream \u2013 and together, we envisioned how to enrich our offering with truly unique experiences.<\/p>\n\n
Today at Zrno Soli was a beautiful encounter \u2013 full of creativity, full of imagination, and full of personal stories.<\/p>\n\n
What sommeliers have been doing for decades by pairing wine with food, we dared to do with a city.<\/p>\n\n

We paired the most beautiful stories of Split with dishes, carefully following the sensibility and emotion of each tale. We did the same with the medieval royal story. <\/p>\n\n

A new MENU that this year for the first time has two sides, left and right. The one on the left contains the a la carte menu, two tasting menus and a lunch menu at a tempting, affordable and great price. <\/p>\n\n

These are all the dishes that our chef Branimir Prnjak created in his youthful creativity and have already won the hearts of many people. So, the left side of the menu is the one that Zrno Soli is already profiled, accomplished, known for and which never disappoints. And on the right side of the menu, we have created completely new stories. <\/p>\n\n

Croative Soul by Zrno Soli<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
We have designed two remarkable half-day journeys, each offering something truly special.<\/p>\n\n
The Soul of Split by Zrno Soli<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
We begin with a walk through Split, accompanied by carefully chosen stories from its rich history. Along the way, we introduce our guests to some of the city\u2019s most remarkable figures, allowing the intense character of Split to truly sink in. And then, we lead them to our table \u2014 where that very same, wondrous Split is served through a thoughtfully crafted menu that follows the city\u2019s journey, both in story and flavor, from its very beginnings to the present day. <\/p>\n\n
The Royal Croatian Soul by Zrno Soli<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
In the year when we celebrate 1100 years since the coronation of the first Croatian king, we want to captivate all the senses of our guests with fascinating stories about Croatian royal tradition from the Valley of the Croatian Kings (Solin, Klis). After visiting the sites and immersing ourselves in the mystery of our ancient and glorious national past, we bring the guest to the coronation table where they can taste dishes from the coronation of King Tomislav. Who would dare to resist such a sublime invitation? <\/p>\n\n

The meeting was also attended by Zrno Soli’s closest partners, with whom they proudly build an authentic indigenous story year after year, and this year it has reached such proportions that few will leave without a smile, namely Vinarija Putalj, Solana Pag, Poetica Distillery, Terra Marascae \u2013 OPG. At the end of the gathering, restaurant owner Ivo Vrdoljak thanked everyone for coming and invited everyone to truly build this new experience together, giving each other continued trust and relying on each other’s authentic stories.<\/p>\n\n

And for the very end, the Leitmotiv of the entire gathering was the Old Slavic word “sre\u0107a” which literally means meeting, to meet. Meeting is the origin of happiness, that eternally sought after “kairos”, or time of grace; a time in which we are ready and able to give and receive – happiness. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
