The end of 2023 was marked by one of the most inspiring moments in our restaurant’s history – a visit to the famous Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons , one of the most prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants in the United Kingdom, located in picturesque Oxfordshire. The invitation came personally from Chef Raymond Blanc , a legend of world gastronomy and one of the most influential chefs of today.

Our chefs, chefs Marko Durašević and Branimir Prnjak, participated in an exclusive evening dedicated to the promotion of Croatian wines and gastronomy , as part of a special event organized for distinguished guests from the British culinary scene and wine industry. It was an exceptional honor – not only to cook side by side with top experts, but also to present Croatia through tastes, smells and stories.
The participation of our chefs in the Raymond Academy program brought additional value to this trip, after which they brought diplomas that symbolize not only knowledge, but also a new chapter of professional development. As a special sign of attention, Raymond Blanc handed us a signed copy of his famous cookbook The Story of Modern Classic – a title that perfectly reflects the philosophy of Zrno Soli.
This experience is not just international recognition – but confirmation that the creativity and quality we nurture in Split has the power to inspire beyond the borders of Croatia.
